RENTAL TERMS & POLICIES

These launch policies summarize customer responsibilities. Final legal language should be reviewed before publishing.

SERVICE

South Shore Moving Bins provides door-to-door delivery and pickup of reusable moving bins and dollies. We do not enter homes, pack belongings, load vehicles, transport household goods, or unpack.

RENTAL PERIOD

The standard rental is 10 days. Approved extensions are billed at the package’s daily extension rate for each calendar day after the original pickup date until the equipment is returned. Extension payment is due when the new pickup date is confirmed and extensions are subject to availability. If we delay pickup, the customer is never charged for that delay.

DELIVERY AND PICKUP

Customers must provide accurate origin / delivery and destination / pickup addresses and keep equipment accessible outside or at the door. Bins must be empty and ready at the scheduled pickup time. A failed pickup caused by equipment not being ready or accessible may incur a $40 rescheduling fee.

PAYMENT

Customers pay the rental price, confirmed travel charges, tax, and any purchased add-ons. A stop in our free ZIP zone has no travel charge. Approved stops 13–40 driving miles from 02050 are charged at $2.50 per one-way mile for that delivery or pickup trip. Delivery and pickup are calculated separately, and we confirm route mileage and the full price before payment. Stops beyond 40 driving miles require a custom quote. No refundable security deposit or long card authorization hold is required.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

Customers are responsible for missing or damaged equipment. Suggested replacement charges are approximately $30 per missing or destroyed bin, $15 per missing or destroyed lid, and $100 per missing or damaged dolly. Incidentals may be invoiced manually after inspection.

CLEANING AND CONTAMINATION

Every bin is individually inspected and cleaned between rentals. Customers must disclose known or suspected bed bugs, cockroaches, fleas, rodents, or other serious pest issues. Known active bed-bug situations may be declined. Extraordinary contamination may be charged at the actual cleaning or replacement cost.

SAFE USE

Do not overload bins, use them for hazardous materials, alter them, or expose them to conditions likely to cause damage. Keep lids paired with bins and dollies secure while in your possession.

CHANGES

Contact us as soon as possible about date, address, package, extension, or cancellation changes. Availability and any applicable charges are confirmed before changes take effect.
