South Shore Moving Bins is committed to providing a website and customer experience that can be used by people with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing part of how we design, write, test, and improve this site.
Our accessibility goal
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where practical. This is a goal and a continuing process, not a claim that every page or third-party feature is fully conformant at all times.
Measures we are taking
- Use clear headings, plain language, descriptive links, and consistent navigation.
- Maintain strong color contrast and avoid relying on color alone to communicate status.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and hide decorative visuals from assistive technology.
- Build form labels, instructions, validation messages, and status updates that work with screen readers.
- Support keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, browser zoom, and responsive layouts.
- Respect reduced-motion preferences for nonessential animation.
- Review key booking paths on desktop and mobile as the site evolves.
Third-party features
Some functions are provided by Squarespace, payment processors, maps, social platforms, or other third parties. We do not control every aspect of those tools, but we will seek accessible alternatives or assistance when a barrier is identified.
